About Environet®           

Environet Consulting Ltd was incorporated in 1996 and for many years provided a wide range of environmental consultancy services predominantly to the property sector.  The company was established by the current Managing Director Nic Seal. The amount of work related to Japanese knotweed has increased rapidly since the late 1990s. Environet now focuses exclusively on the eradication of Japanese knotweed throughout the UK. As a result of this change, we decided to change the name of the company to Environet UK Ltd. The name change occurred in December 2011. The company number, registered address and all other details remain unchanged.  

Since the late 1990s  Environet has worked hard to:

1) raise awareness of the problem knotweed creates amongst property professionals, and owners of industrial, commercial and residential land

2) develop eco-friendly and effective ways to achieve total eradication of Japanese knotweed

3) provide a first class nationwide eradication service to our clients, that complements our established professional consulting service.

We remain committed to improving our eradication methods. In 2008 we developed the Xtract™ machine, which enables us to remove knotweed rhizome from infested soil both effectively and economically. The Xtract™ machine has a patent pending in UK, Europe, America and Canada. It has been used successfully on numerous projects, all of which benefit from Environet’s guarantees.

The Xtract™ method has been further developed to allow us to remove knotweed from small residential gardens, to satisfy most mortgage lenders’ requirements.
