Knotweed Detection Dog

Along with his brother Mick, fox-red Labrador Retriever Mack joined Environet in 2020 as one of the UK’s first Japanese knotweed detection dogs. Highly trained by our partners RFA Security to detect knotweed rhizome,  Mack works with customers in the commercial and residential sectors, using the 300 million receptors in his nose to scour gardens and developments sites for any trace of Japanese knotweed.

When he’s not at working, Mack loves simply being a dog, running in the countryside, following scents and chewing his favourite toys!
